Monumental and Public Art
When I approach an art project, my goal is to enter organically the environment to find something fresh and new without disrupting the natural harmony of location. I study landscape, architecture, dynamics, and rhythms of space in which the artwork will exist; i also investigate historical and cultural features and climatic conditions. Once this information has been integrated, I begin to develop the idea for the project, always guided by the visual ecology of the space.
Over the past 25 years, I produced numerous pieces of public and monumental art, including a mural in the airport of Israeli tourist destination Eilat, a sculpture at the entrance of the city Eilat, a mural at border checkpoint between Israel and Egypt, and a commission by the State of Israel to design a bridge over the Red Sea.
